Easter Island Statues

A small Island in the Pacific is home to some of the World's most mysterious stone monuments: 600 Giant stone heads which range in height from 3 - 21 metres. Some weighing more than 50 tons. They were erected between AD 1000 & 1600. Called MOAS these heads were carved out of Volcanic rock and were more than just religious icons. They were believed to be guardians of Easter Island & protectors of the people who lived there.
These replica statues are all individually handmade and painted.
Each head with its own expression and personality are almost as mysterious as the real thing.
